The Cumberland Board of Education's Financial Mission is to support the elementary, middle, and high schools as well as all departments through maintaining sound financial integrity. We serve all employees, students, parents, and citizens of Cumberland County efficiently and courteously.
It is our responsibility to provide financial transparency to the Board of Education as well as the citizens of Cumberland County.
Our responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Liability insurance
- Preparing and maintaining budgets
- Payroll
- Accounting procedures
- Accounts payable
- Banking services
Payroll
The Payroll Department is responsible for accurately processing the payroll for the employees of Cumberland County Schools.
Employees are paid on the last day of each month.
The specific responsibilities of the Payroll Department include:
- Administration of time, attendance, and payroll processing
- Direct deposit processing
- Processing W-4 tax withholding forms
- CERS and KTRS reporting
Payroll Forms
Direct deposit is mandatory for all Cumberland County Board of Education employees. Submit this form to the Payroll Department for new enrollments or changes to your direct deposit information. After the form has been received, the first month will be a pre-note.
