Located in Burkesville, Kentucky, Cumberland County School District's core values are expressed in our vision of producing learners and leaders rich in experiences as connected citizens, caring communities, and creative collaborators. The district provides a robust curriculum including birth to early post-secondary education opportunities. Located within the Cumberland County School District are Little Panthers Daycare, Lake Cumberland Headstart, Cumberland County Elementary School, Cumberland County Middle School, Cumberland County High School, Panther Virtual Academic, and Panther Academy. Learners have opportunities for dual-credit enrollment and career pathways at Southern Kentucky Early College and Carrer Center in Albany as well as Campbellsville University and Somerset Community College.

Congratulations to CCHS junior Silas Garmon on being selected for the Governor's School for the Arts. Silas was selected in the Instrumental Music (Brass) category.
GSA is an arts education summer program of The Kentucky Center for the Performing Arts. GSA is offered at no cost to the student and is made available through funding from the state, as well as private fundraising.
